Position: Chef Instructor (Pastry & Bakery)
Destination: North-East (USA)

Basic Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree Holder in either culinary arts or pastry and bakery related fields
• Responsibilities:
• We require a Chef Instructor - specialised in Pastry and Bakery. This position entails delivery of pastry and bakery education, participation in competition, execution of creative pastry events, consultation to food manufacturers and food service providers
• Teach and conduct professional pastry and bakery courses   
• Supervise and execute the day to day operations of academy kitchen
• Part of the team in preparing curriculum and lesson plan for professional pastry and bakery course
• Prepare assessment and examination for the students
• Participation in student discipline, monitoring and reporting
• Provide counseling and guidance when student may requir
• Any other special projects or special events as assigned by the management
• Minimum 5 years industry experience in Pastry and Bakery in Hotels, Restaurants or Pastry and Bakery production
• One with ACTA will be an added advantage
• Competence in delivering education in English
• Creative and able to develop recipes
• Positive attitude and result oriented
• Good sense of humour and play
• Won medals in international culinary competitions will be an advantage
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office System, primarily MS Word and MS PowerPoint
