The Role
- Preparing health and safety strategies and developing internal policy;
- Carrying out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced;
- Carrying out accident investigations on site and producing subsequent reports and recommendations
- Keeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for managers.
- Identifying training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments.
- Designing and developing training and development programs based on both the organization's and the individual's needs.Conducting appraisals.
- monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers
- Evaluating training and development programs
